Home Coming, Kollel VancouverA private first lookBegin a conversation

The Kollel’s vision

A home that meets people where they are.

For more than 25 years, the Kollel has been guided by one simple conviction: every person should be welcomed into Jewish life with warmth, dignity and no judgment.

The Kollel’s direction

The door opens before the program begins.

The Kollel is not meant to feel like an institution. It is meant to feel like a host who has been waiting for you: a chair ready, a table open and someone who knows your name.

That spirit has guided the Kollel since 2000. People arrive through Torah learning, a Shabbat invitation, a celebration, friendship or practical support. The path may be different for each person, but the welcome is the same.

At Broadway & Arbutus, that proven approach can grow into a permanent gateway to Jewish life: visible, accessible and ready to hold the full rhythm of community.

What the home must make possible

Belonging before background.

A newcomer should never need the right vocabulary or history to walk in and feel at home.

Jewish life in full.

Learning, prayer, meals, milestones, friendship and support belong under one roof.

A welcome that can grow.

The new home gives a proven outreach mission the room and visibility to reach more people.

The vision made physical

Begin with a table.

The street-level café is more than an amenity. It gives someone a natural way to enter, sit down and begin a relationship before deciding what comes next.
